Bei der Endkontrolle stellt sich keine stabile Qualität ein.
Es ist in den Prozess integriert, Schritt für Schritt.
In der OEM-Silikonschlauchherstellung, quality stability and consistency are the foundation of everything else.
If quality is not stable, production cannot be stable.
If production is not stable, delivery cannot be predictable.
That is why, at HOTOP, quality control starts from the moment we receive a customer’s drawing or sample.
Durchmesser, Wandstärke, Verstärkung, Drucken, testing requirements, and many other details need to be considered before production begins.
This is also part of the thinking behind APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) — quality needs to be planned into the process, anstatt erst am Ende zu prüfen.
Here are three examples.
During silicone rubber compounding, several materials may need to be mixed together:
Silikon-Gummi + color masterbatch + curing agent + anti-fog additives
The proportions of these materials affect the properties and consistency of the silicone compound, including color consistency.
So we set a very simple rule for weighing.
60 g
59 g ✕
61 g ✕
There is no “close enough” here.
This may look strict for a small difference of one or two grams.
But when the same process is repeated batch after batch, small differences can accumulate and eventually affect consistency.
We also require all auxiliary materials to be placed together on one tray before mixing.
Zum Beispiel:
Color masterbatch
Curing agent
Anti-fog additive
The complete group is checked together.
We also prohibit operators from weighing materials while simultaneously carrying out the mixing operation.
Why?
Because multitasking creates an unnecessary opportunity to forget one of the ingredients.
The principle is simple:
When a mistake can be prevented by process design, we do not rely on memory alone.
Film wrapping is a manual operation.
For one of our processes, the film needs to overlap by approximately 2/3, while each new turn advances by approximately 1/3.
Technically, the requirement is clear.
But there is a practical problem:
Can a person accurately judge 1/3 und 2/3 by eye every time?
Not necessarily.
So instead of simply telling the operator:
“Overlap 2/3 and advance 1/3.”
we make the instruction easier to understand and execute.
This is much easier for an operator to visualize and repeat.
There is another problem.
During wrapping, the operator can see only the surface directly in front of them.
The back side of the product is hidden.
If the operation depends entirely on experience, it is easier to miss an area.
Deswegen, during the second wrapping pass, the product must be turned over.
Now the operator can:
✓ See the film position directly
✓ Check whether the first layer covers the entire surface
✓ Identify any missed areas
✓ Continue the second pass with a clear reference
This is a small change in the process, but it reduces dependence on individual experience.
We do not simply ask people to be more careful. We try to make the correct operation easier to perform.
This is a more complicated engineering problem.
We produce silicone hoses with many different:
When engineers determine the material width for the inner layer, outer layer, und Verstärkungsschichten, the number of combinations becomes very large.
Experience alone is not enough.
Zum Beispiel, two hoses may both have three reinforcement layers, aber:
Hose A → 4.5 mm wall thickness
Hose B → 4.2 mm wall thickness
If every new specification is handled purely by memory or historical experience, the process quickly becomes difficult to manage.
We collect approximately 20–30 different combinations of hose diameter, Wandstärke, and reinforcement structure.
From these production conditions, we develop a practical calculation formula.
But we do not simply trust the formula.
We test it again.
After repeated sampling, calculation, verification, and correction, the resulting formula can cover approximately 80% of our regular production conditions.
This makes it much easier for engineers to prepare process instructions.
How can we identify the common patterns in manual work and turn them into repeatable processes?
Bei HOTOP, this means continuously working on small details:
Simplify the operation.
Define the requirement clearly.
Execute the process.
Check the result.
Feed the result back.
Improve the process when necessary.
Im Laufe der Zeit, individual experience can become a process instruction.
A process instruction can become a manufacturing standard.
And a manufacturing standard helps make production more stable and consistent.
For an OEM silicone hose project, quality stability does not begin with final inspection.
It begins when we receive the customer’s drawing or sample.
The diameter, Wandstärke, Verstärkung, Drucken, Material, testing requirements, and production process all need to work together.
The small details matter because OEM production is repeated production.
A product that is good once is not enough.
It needs to be produced the same way, to the same requirements, again and again.
That is why we believe:
Für OEM-Silikonschlauchprojekte, Schicken Sie uns Ihre Zeichnung oder Ihr Muster. Wir können die Anforderungen überprüfen und besprechen, wie wir sie in einen stabilen und wiederholbaren Herstellungsprozess umwandeln können.
