Introduction

There is polyester fabric in the middle layers of silicone hoses. The silicone hose fabric can acts as a reinforcement fo the silicone hoses. the fabric material is always polyester. it is always calendered together with silicone hose rubber.

Common Reinforcement Types

»Polyester – Good flexibility, medium strength, general automotive and industrial use. Working temperature -50C to +180C.

»Aramid– High tensile strength, excellent thermal stability, for high-pressure or turbo applications, high-temperature working silicone hose option.Working temperature -50C to +280C.

»Nomex– High heat resistance, fire retardant, for extreme temperature or hydrogen

applications.Working temperature -50C to +300+C.
