There is polyester fabric in the middle layers of silicone hoses. The silicone hose fabric can acts as a reinforcement fo the silicone hoses. the fabric material is always polyester. it is always calendered together with silicone hose rubber.
Polyester fabric have good elasticity and scalability, so it is easy to be molded in silicone hose.

Aramid fabric is other option for reinforcement layer in middle of silicone hose, it works more than 350 ℃. it also have better strength.
